Key achievements

  • Developed and maintained Gold Standards Contributing Fairly to Global Net Zero corporate climate mitigation framework
  • Co-authoring Gold Standard BVCM guidance and delivering an expert exploratory group on BVCM made up of civil society experts, corporates, consultancies and other relevant stakeholders.
  • Co-founded the Advanced Indirect Mitigation platform, bringing together companies, civil society and companies to develop critical guidance on how to credibly utilised market based interventions to support companies to meet their climate goals.
  • Established Gold Standards Technical Policy hub, creating a centralised place and process for establishing policy priorities, developing policy positions and supporting advocacy campaigns.
  • Authoring a document as part of a funded programme with multiple stakeholders on an attribution approach to landscape approaches.

  • Traders roadmap, launched at cop27, working with US Government, Tropical Forest Alliance and other UK Government programmes to bring the major agricultural commodity traders to agree, develop and commit to a sustainable pathway plan.
  • Supporting the delivery of the Forest Agriculture and Commodity Trade dialogue, brining together 26 producer and consumer countries to agree on international agreements to support sustainable development of agricultural supply chains.
