In my current role I am a dedicated finance analyst with expertise in the loans department, offering a proven track record of meticulously assessing financial data and optimising lending processes.

I have gained experience in conducting thorough credit risk assessments, financial modelling, and portfolio analysis to drive sound lending decisions. Proficient in utilising data-driven insights to enhance loan controls, mitigate risks, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

My strong aptitude for problem-solving has allowed me to collaborate effectively with team members, identify inefficiencies, and implement data-driven solutions to every day tasks.

Throughout my time in the role I have developed strong analytical skills and a commitment to delivering precise data, one of my achievements throughout my time in the role is creating a comprehensive month-end control spreadsheet that streamlines financial reporting and enhances accuracy. This shown my adept ability at utilising excel to automate calculations, identify discrepancies, and ensure data integrity, contributing to a more efficient month-end closing process.

Within my current role I have consistently demonstrated a keen ability to assemble and present comprehensive papers/presentations for banking committee meetings on a monthly and quarterly basis. I take pride in my attention to detail, ensuring that all documents are well-structured, accurate, and delivered on time. Through these contributions, I have played a crucial role in facilitating well-informed discussions and decisions within the banking committee meetings.

I have grown to be adept at collaborating with teams across the finance department. This has developed most recently through my secondment with the Finance Data and Systems team where I am gaining experience using systems such as business objects and Power BI as well as gaining an insight into different data systems within the business including Sun, BPC etc.

Serving as a junior football referee was a rewarding experience that taught me essential life skills. This role required me to exhibit strong decision-making abilities, impartiality, and composure under pressure, ensuring a fair and safe sporting environment. It also developed my communication skills, as I needed to effectively interact with players, coaches, and spectators.

Being a referee instilled in me a sense of responsibility and integrity, which I've since applied to various aspects of my life, including my work life. This experience taught me the importance of fairness and clear communication in any role, fostering personal and professional growth.

During my tenure at Lidl supermarket, I gained valuable experience in the fast-paced retail environment. I took on various responsibilities, such as customer service, stock replenishment, and cashier duties. This experience honed my strong work ethic, time management skills, and ability to work effectively as part of a team.

I also developed excellent communication skills, assisting customers and addressing their inquiries. Moreover, I learned the importance of attention to detail in ensuring product quality and maintaining a well-organised store. My time at Lidl taught me the importance of efficiency and customer satisfaction in a retail setting, which I have since carried forward into my professional career.

A Christmas role at JD Sports allowed me to develop my team working skills as well as allowing me to work well under pressure. Retail is a fast- paced environment especially over the Christmas period and this meant long hours and sudden changes to shift patterns were often a requirement.

As a concourse steward at Liverpool Football Club, I developed crowd management and customer service skills in a high-energy, demanding environment. This role required me to ensure the safety and enjoyment of thousands of fans, which taught me the importance of remaining composed under pressure.

I also developed excellent interpersonal and communication abilities, as I regularly interacted with fans, addressing their needs and concerns. My time as a concourse steward instilled in me a strong sense of responsibility and the ability to adapt to changing situations swiftly. These skills have been invaluable in various professional settings.

Two weeks working at a Law firm, in which I shadowed solicitors in various parts of the business as well as helping prepare legal documents for a barristers file. For this case I also attended court and assisted the barrister.
