I have taken an idea and personally made over £1m on 5 different occasions. I've done this leanly by building small, agile teams. I've also endured a significant amount of failure too...Standard!

I also believe successful entrepreneurs need to define their vision, confront failure and create an undeniable product married to a great story. Underneath all this, the entrepreneur and their product needs to have emotional resonance and relationship. Its about human connection on every level. I have been mentoring up and coming entrepreneurs for over a decade. I am incredibly proud of my first mentee has risen from telesales to running an award winning TV production company. The pandemic gave me an opportunity to widen this which seems like a natural evolution of my passion and skill.
Spotted an Opportunity for frictionless Instant Payment Tech in the Public Sector that enables an increase in collection rates and a decrease in Recovery costs. Have built a lean team, raised £100k seed capital with product now in beta testing. A number of significant government leads suggest were on track for a 2024 launch.
Pandemic parenting took priority. I found myself being a teacher! I have also mentored a number of other entrepreneurs and business executives. From those just starting up in fashion to a digital publishing founder to a high profile CEO in the media.
A chance conversation in a pub led to me developing a brand concept around the idea that a guy will never accept that he is 100% Grown up. There always has to be 10% of him that simply isn't. I called the Brand 90:10.. a symbol of self expression which I then Trade Marked and opened up an online shop.
Pivoted away from selling the clothes direct and decided the best course of action was to license the brand concept to a Retailer. Agree terms with House of Fraser. This was terminated when Sports Direct took over the company.
