I am required to check tickets for validity, issue tickets via the Star Mobile system, provide route information if required, maintain a safe and pleasant environment on the service through effective announcements and face to face interactions.
  • This role requires many varied skills; dynamic decision making, conflict resolution, effective communication with the pubic and railway personnel, being calm under pressure, and a strong understanding of ever changing railway policies and procedures.
