Infrastructure IT Engineer at the Karolinovka rational camp (gold mining site in the Ust-Abakan district of the Republic of Khakassia)

• When a new site was launched, I was tasked with building the IT infrastructure from scratch. So I deployed satellite internet, installed the ST video surveillance system, monted cameras and network equipment, handling everything from procurement to configuration and installation.
• Ensured uninterrupted operation and monitoring of critical systems like video surveillance, network, communications. Conducted analysis and prompt incident resolution 24/7.
• Configured and installed new cameras and video recorders.
• Learned to work with the multifunctional WinBox program for large networks.
• Configured SkyEdge Gemini II satellite equipment, installed it on the building roof, and achieved a signal reception level of 16 dB.
• Configured MikroTik routers and ST video recorders.
• Connected various camera models to the network. From simple outdoor cameras to dome cameras with IR illumination. Each has its own nuances regarding power supply, IP addresses, and video streams.
• Expanded the network as the site grew, installed routers in trailers, in areas with weak signal. Sometimes had to find non-standard solutions, for example, using Wi-Fi bridges instead of laying 100+ meters of twisted pair cable.
• Ensured the operation of the paid A-Link satellite internet and expanded the network as the site developed.
• To reduce satellite internet and equipment costs, configured and installed a Wi-Fi bridge between two sites (distance about 2 km). This allowed: 1. Saving the company about 300,000 rubles on equipment; 2. Reducing downtime from 3 weeks to 1 day (compared to waiting for the delivery of the new satellite and network equipment).
• Installed TightVNC Server on all workstations, enabling remote troubleshooting and reducing the number of trips to the sites.
• Maintained an up-to-date network map.
• Documented installed equipment and maintained inventory records.
• In field conditions, learned to refill and service Kyocera ECOSYS M2040, M2135, Xerox, Pantum printers.
• Developed Python code that checks the availability of all video surveillance cameras on the site and other areas.
• Installed and configured smart temperature sensors in the decks where soil was processed.

• Integration solution for media content processing: Automated conversion of images from WEBP to JPEG on the IKB server using Python. Result: eliminated manual work, processing of 95,000+ files accelerated from hours to minutes.
• Development of a fault-tolerant data replication mechanism: Created a PowerShell script on the server using the Robocopy cmd utility for daily mirroring of 50+ GB of data. Result: eliminated human errors, implemented structured logging.
• Optimization of incident analysis: Developed a set of SQL scripts for quickly identifying business incident patterns in QlikView.

Provided technical support to store, office, and distribution center (DC) employees.

• Wrote Python scripts for data synchronization (used the "Robocopy" cmd utility).
• Developed a Python script for automatically matching the internal product catalog with competitor catalogs based on key parameters (brand and article number), which allowed for quick identification of matches and significantly reduced the time for the commercial department employees to analyze competitor prices.
• Updated accounts in Active Directory.
• Processed 10-15+ tickets per day with a first-contact resolution rate of ~70%.
• Reduced incident response time from 1 hour to 20 minutes through process optimization.
• Participated in data migration during the update of Devolutions Server (RDM, user accounts).
• Improved my skills in problem-solving, communication, working with users, technical analysis, time management, patience, and attention to detail.
• Periodically documented solutions in the Wiki.

• Wrote a thesis on "Building a Fault-Tolerant Data Center (DC) Server".
• Participated in creating a DC server based on RAID 10.
