I am currently looking to relocate to the area in September and want to continue supporting and making a difference in the lives of children and their families, while also looking for a new opportunity to broaden my knowledge.
I have gained extensive knowledge working in the early education sector, which I believe would benefit any establishment. I began my career in a nursery setting in 2018, shortly after graduating from Brighton University with a Level 6 qualification in Early Childhood Care and Education. Within the first six months of my employment, I was promoted to Room Lead, successfully managing a room and developing my skills in staff management. Soon after, I became third in charge, which involved taking on more management responsibilities.
In 2021, the company I still work for opened a third location in Fleet and invited me to become the Manager – a career opportunity for which I am still grateful. This was a brand-new setting; I went from having one child enrolled at the opening in 2021 to now having 102 children on roll. I have overseen all the processes from the initial opening OFSTED inspection to our most recent inspection in May 2023, during which my team and I achieved an Outstanding rating. I am committed to striving for the best outcomes for children.
Since starting my career in 2018 I have dedicated my time to the company, not calling in sick during my 7 years there.
As a nursery manager for the past four years, I have learned the importance of early intervention and how essential external agencies are in making a significant difference in children's lives, now a career I feel passionately about pursuing.
