My role here was:

  • Making enquires from from suppliers in order to give customers quotations for a vast range of PVC, aluminium windows, doors, bi folds, conservatories & roofs and glass.
  • Point of call for customers to assist in rectifying any problems speedily by speaking directly with suppliers.
  • producing daily delivery notes for the delivery's to customers, and informing the customers their order had arrived.
  • Taking payments over the phone and in person via till and card systems for UPVC products as well as for the Trade Selling Centre.
  • Answering emails and telephone calls in the office from existing customers, new customers and the general public.
  • Keeping up to date all the social media platforms daily.

My role here was:

  • Welcoming customers to the building.

  • Liaising with customers to organise demonstrations and making follow up calls to try and produce sales.
  • Sending out marketing information, together with keeping all brochures and marketing material up to date.
  • Assisting in the workshop department office when busier than usual.

My role here was:

  • Building a relationship with suppliers and customers alike, in order to keep the business buoyant.
  • Process payments and keeping records of sales, returns etc.
  • Selling and restocking.
  • Dealing with suppliers both in the UK and Europe via telephone and email etc.
  • Footwear is purchased at various points in the year, and always at least 9 months ahead of the coming season. Knowing your client and stock was key to the success of the business.
  • Monthly stock-take that provided us with information of selling trends along with necessary information for forward ordering for the next season.
  • I was instrumental in setting up Social Networking for the business to help the business boost sales beyond the local area.
