Skilled at planning, time management and communicating with my peers, resulting in accomplished goals and highly passionate about design and the creative industry. Throughout my time at Sixth form I completed the Young Enterprise project. I had the role of marketing director in which I spent time advertising and designing my team's 2 in 1 colouring and story book. My efforts in creating and advertising our book resulted in us being awarded the prize of “most innovative design”. Alongside completing this I spent my free time attaining a Level 3 qualification in Dance Teaching. To obtain this qualification I spent a year volunteering in Ballet and Theatre Craft classes of all ages which allowed me to grow my skills in communicating information. I am now studying Costume Interpretation at the University of the Arts London, in this degree I am constantly collaborating creatively with my peers and new people from other degrees to put on productions and exhibitions. I am constantly learning as I improve my technical skills which require much patience and precision. Through studying costume at degree level my communication and time management skills have been honed greatly, this can be evidenced by the highly successful outcome of my Unit 4 collaborative project where I worked within a group to create a costume for a talking bird character which was used as part of a performance at Wimbledon Library.
