• Top 10 team, achieving an individual score, placing me 6th in the cohort
• Appointed as Assembly Lead
• Tasked with building a functional trebuchet (with guidelines for weight) to be used in a competition with approx. 30 other teams
• Group split into subgroups: design & manufacture and excel modelling & testing
• Creating initial designs of trebuchet (manual and digital drawings), CAD for laser cutting
• Mathematical analysis [kinematics and energy balances] for accuracy competition [in which we hit the bullseye and made the finals]

• Analysed the effects of different types of brakes, considering environmental factors, the passengers and emergency scenarios
• 18 page report discussing stakeholders, braking design concepts, concept selection justification (pugh matrix) and more
• Bridge: Manufactured and assembled a bridge with a warren truss design
• Used CAD [SIEMENS NX] to create the necessary designs on the metal which were then sent to a CNC waterjet cutter

Virtual Work Experience.

• Used simulation tools to optimise an integrated energy landscape, balancing cost, environmental impact, and operational efficiency, resulting in a scalable model that harmonises diverse energy sources.
• Navigated through the major sectors of the company (finance, legal, sustainability, and marketing).
• Designed an infographic on the effects of technology on health.

• Talks from Mott Macdonald, Berkeley, St Edward, British Airways, and Babcock, discussing roles and expectations of employees.
