Responsible of editing and managing everything that is going to be published in the journal.
Leading a team of 10 people (general editors, content editors, creative editor). Already made some key changes on the website of the journal (i.e. established a column through which law students can submit their queries and these will be answered by law firms directly).
Fully responsible of organizing the events of the society (e.g. dinners). Responsible of designing the marketing tools for each event. Helping promoting the events.
Fully responsible of managing the finances of the society. Responsible of researching interesting speakers for the Policy Labs of the Society.
OpenMinds is a student-led intervention providing mental health education to school students by training University students through courses with professionals to deliver workshops in local schools. Fully responsible of ensuring that all volunteers going into schools and have the correct safeguarding. Responsible of allocating volunteers to school sessions and make sure everyone gets the opportunity to take part in the delivery of the workshops. Management of all this requires great organisational skills and Excel skills due to the vast number of volunteers.
September 2018:
Computer Proficiency. Used Microsoft Excel to develop inventory tracking spreadsheets. Coordinated weekly project team meetings and drafted agendas to increase meeting efficiency. Reviewed and updated Society's correspondence files and scheduling database.
