while in this role i built on previously learned skills with in the waste water industry, this experience led me into the role of a civils assist operative& allowed me to build my skills and confidence.

Civils assist operative Teams provided Day to Day assistance to mainstream Civils teams this included

• Removal of Water Build up from excavations, Line Cleaning and Camera surveying
• General assistance for United Utilities including attending to Customers to resolve issuance undertake
• Cleaning open areas when necessary known.
• Identifying blockages in sewers for immediate resolution.
• Performing routine checks on public drains, maintaining cleanliness standards.
• Conducting CCTV surveys for an accurate understanding of pipe conditions.
• Removing debris from drains, preventing potential blockages or overflows.
• Assuring smooth operation of sewer lines through preventive maintenance tasks.

This Role Varied Day to day as the needs of the company changed, with in the role operatives could be on any team vehicle From support to a Super recycler or Camera vans performing any task from jetting to ancillary inspections, to large wet well cleans or Routine BT box maintenance.

during my time in this role i developed a skill base for working on the water network learning to solve problems and aiming to perform every task to the highest standard, this includes confined space entry, high pressure water jetting and task such as completing reports for completed works.
