I am an 18 year old from London with proven experience in property management, team work led environments and customer service. I am a reliable worker, with great communication, collaboration and problem solving skills. I take pride in my creativity as i am driven by my creative ideas shown in my extra curricular activities. I aspire to be a project manager as i feel i have the right skill set and I am keen to keep developing and learning new skills to become a successful project manager.
Over the duration of 2 years, I marketed and advertised a property using Airbnb. This involved taking photographs, writing descriptions and overall promoting the property. I understand the importance of responsive communication with consumers, as i have learnt to have prompt responses to guests feedback making sure I am as helpful as possible. I have also managed the property, which included being the cleaner, cleaning around 2-3 times a week and replacing any products or necessities. I also kept my own balance sheet that helped me to keep track of the profit and losses within the property.
I secured myself work experience with License to PR, an independent PR agency who work with children's TV, with clients including Peppa Pig and Karma's World. I attended Notting Hill Carnival where I worked along side License to PR's publicist and junior publicist to promote the netflix TV show Karma’s World. We were given an area that we were able to decorate with the shows merchandise and logos whilst simultaneously running free activities for the children to do including, face painting, a treasure hunt and arts and crafts. This experience made realised the impact that an in-person activation can have in cementing a brand's identity and reaching new audiences.
I am currently in my gap year Waiting in the Duke of Greenwich pub. Waiting demands high quality customer service, which is a priority to retain avid customers. I work with a team, regularly communicating with the kitchen and bar staff to maintain smooth front of house operations, minimising potential service delays, which has taught me the importance of high communication and team work skills. My work also involves me communicating with people from many different backgrounds daily, my interpersonal skills help to create a friendly, welcoming atmosphere to encourage positive guest experiences, prolonging visits to increase profitability.
