Curriculum Vitae

Warwick

Summary

I am a passionate educator, whose motivation is providing young people with the most equitable education possible. With fifteen years experience in inner-city schools, I have seen first hand how effective teaching can lead to social mobility. I have used my position, as a school leader in different capacities, to drive change at faculty and whole-school level and support and develop staff to be the best they can be, to positively improve the lives of students. Throughout my career I have delivered successful CPD to staff at all levels; mentored trainees and teachers new to the profession, and coached staff, all with great success. I have always been excited by pedagogy and learning and teaching, but my heart lies in English and the wonderful ability our subject has to transform the hearts, minds, and lives of people.
