I am a hard-working, loyal and committed individual with a strong administrative background. I'm self-motivated and enthusiastic with the ability to ensure the smooth running of any project and task. Due to re-locating to the Peterborough area, I am looking for a career with a company that will allow me to further develop my current skill set and with the opportunity to grow and progress within the business.
I started working for Lanes and Events TMS in July 2023 as a sole worker with the company director and worked across all 3 business she had at the time. Trinity Self Drive which was a day to day van rental service, Luxe prestige Ltd which was a Prestigious vehicle rental for long term lease and Lanes and Events Traffic Management Supplies Ltd which was traffic management van hire. It was my role to ensure the smooth operations of all 3 businesses including bookings, invoicing, handling of payments, pre-rental and post rental inspections of vehicles, damage charges and managing vehicle maintenance and breakdowns. From July 2023 until March 2025 the fleet across all 3 business grew from around 50 vehicles to 150+ vehicles.
In February 2025 the director set up another business, Trinity Fast Fit which is a vehicle garage offering service, maintenance and repairs. It is my role to oversee the day to day running of the garage including diary management, invoicing and parts ordering.
I started at Ready Rent A Car in February 2020 at the Scunthorpe Branch as a Rental Desk Operative/Administrator in which my main role was to serve customers face to face and over the phone and carry out day to day office administration. Managing customers bookings and hire agreements, taking payments, working along side our on site workshop technicians to book in servicing and repairs. In August 2020 I was promoted to Office Manager and in January 2021 I moved across to the newly opened Doncaster branch as the Branch Manager.
My duties included the day to day management of the site operations including dealing with customers, on site workshop bookings, payment handling, invoicing, social media management. I was point of contact for our business account customers building strong relationships ensuring repeat business.
I started at the Trent Port when I was 18 as a front of house team member, waiting tables and serving behind the bar. I worked my way up to FOH and BOH shift supervisor and in 2018 I was promoted to Kitchen Manager. My main duties included; training team members on proper cooking procedures as well as safety regulations and productivity strategies. Maintain kitchen cleanliness and sanitation through correct procedures and schedules. Forecast kitchen supply needs, accurately estimating quantities to reduce waste and maximise profit. I was responsible for hiring and managing kitchen staff and planning rotas.
This was seasonal work for 6 months over the skydiving season. My main duties consisted of day to day admin, including file organisation, data inputting and cash handling. Taking telephone bookings, in house bookings and dealing with customers.
