My career as a Languages Teacher which spanned 20 years gave me the skills necessary to communicate with and ensure the safety of pupils in an educational setting, whether in school or on many of the Educational Trips I organised during my time at school. I was a hill-walking leader for the Duke of Edinburgh Scheme at school and therefore trained in Health and Safety.
