I believe I bring two strong key skills First being my knowledge of the motoring industry both through previous employment and the personal love of the motoring world I show strong organisational skills, customer service experience, and keen understanding of inventory management. Knowledgeable about the brand and vehicle range and implementation of sales strategies, always striving to exceed targets and enhance customer satisfaction.
The second is my knowledge of the relationship between the operational decisions made by head-office and how this effects the staff and customers in our face to face retail stores,workshops and branches.
I still strongly believe in the traditional approach the key is the customer experience. This should be one that is pleasant, the customer should be filled with the feeling of trust in the ability of both myself and the trust of the brand. This hopefully will reward us with both repeat custom and a great word of mouth reputation for the brand and dealership.
Role: Customer facing dealing with all b2b and b2c customer inquiries and tracking orders from point of sale to fulfillment.
within the 15 year term the role has adapted from over the counter customer to phone and predominantly now online sales. I personally enjoyed the customer journey from the point of inquiry to the happy customer who will remember the helpful service and reward us with return custom.
Role: Shop floor / Back of House HR / Cash Office / Key holder.
My role covered the entire day to day running of the store in the absence of the store manager that include opening the store and ensuring staffing rotas for each department were sufficient to cover the daily running. Implementing POS changes and marketing scenarios to a specific deadline. Completing End odf day process and cashing up tills/ banking.
making sure the customer always above and beyond had a great customer experience while in store.
I completed a NVQ Level 3 Advanced Apprenticeship at Leicester College Abbey Park Campus, whilst working at R&N Motors. This was a fantastic start to my career as I was fortunate enough to work with many great mentors who shared their knowledge with me. I was disappointed when the business closed and I had to move on.
