I have been in the water industry since 2001 & have experienced & worked all roles in the sector which given me a wealth of knowledge
I started as a labourer for my first boss doing CCTV surveys on South West Water sewers back in 2001 I then moved to Bristol & got a job with a local drainage company who put me through my HGV licence within 6 months of being there & I became their HGV operative doing all large industrial jobs at the age of 22
I then moved back to Devon & worked for my previous employer carrying private drainage, commercial & insurance works throughout the South West
In 2011 I joined Metro Rod when the legislation for section 105a was implemented & I was the first engineer in North Devon carrying out works for South West Water
In 2018 I joined South West Water as a water water technician carrying out pre planned & reactive works I was also one of the O - Licence Drivers due to having a HGV licence
To date I work for 24/7 drain solutions as a surveyor providing reports to managemen
