I currently serve as the Group Transport Manager at Bullet Express Ltd, where I am responsible for overseeing the operations of six depots across the UK. I manage a diverse fleet of 165 vehicles, ranging from small vans to 44-ton articulated vehicles and trailers. My role involves the strategic implementation of transport regulations, driver planning, daily operational oversight, and ensuring seamless departmental performance as head of transport.

I hold a National and International Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC) in Transport Management, am a fully trained and certified Dangerous Goods Safety Advisor (DGSA), and I am a vetted CAA Cargo Manager with counter terrorism training. With over 20 years of experience in both road and air cargo transportation, I bring extensive expertise in regulatory compliance, operational management, and safety standards. I achieved my CPC in 2018 and became a qualified DGSA in 2022, specializing in dangerous goods handling, including radioactive materials as a certified Radioactive Protection Advisor. I also have experience managing wide load movements and leading office, driver, and warehouse teams in a 3PL/4PL logistics environment.

My core responsibilities include overseeing transport compliance across the Scottish region, ensuring full regulatory adherence in all dangerous goods operations, and managing departmental profit and loss performance. I lead a team of professionals to resolve operational challenges, liaise with clients, and ensure a high standard of customer service and satisfaction.

In my leadership role, I have successfully developed and implemented cost-saving initiatives, enhanced revenue streams, and supported business development efforts including customer acquisitions, large scale projects, including handling all transportation requirements for the 2014 commonwealth games . I regularly engage with suppliers, customers and regulatory bodies through direct meetings and consultations and have build a strong name for myself within the transport industry. My work ensures compliance with health and safety regulations across transport, warehousing, and logistics operations. I am a resourceful, highly organised professional with a strong record in leadership, team development, cost management and operational excellence across multiple industry sectors with over 20 years of experience working in the transport and logistics industry.
