I am 27 years old, and every day I continue to better myself and I look forward to the prospect of finding employment within the public service sector/ health and social care sector. I joined the army in 2019 and left in 2024 doing 4 and half year service. I started my service as Military police, and then went into the Military nursing corps as a health care. When I left the army, I then proceeded to become a prison officer, which is my current job role. Working in the prison service, I deal with vulnerable young people/ adults on a daily basis which has given me more skills on top of what I gained within the army. I have experience of discipline, working well under pressure, caring for others and the ability to remain calm in stressful situations. I can work well on my own, as a team and as a leader. I will always perform to the best of my ability within my role and look for further opportunities for progression. I can follow strict rules and act with authority when needed but also have a patient and compassionate side. I have an open mind and a drive of determination with everything I do.
