• Responsible for coordination and supporting the purchasing activity for all New Part Introduction Process activity
• Managing and tracking all parts from the initial drawing release to the order and cut-in of the components, ensuring that timelines are met and long lead time components are managed
• Supporting the cross functional engagement when discussing supplier sourcing and constructing a synthetic BOM
• Management of any risks identified throughout the process
• Prepare and present the overall purchasing positions at NPIP gate reviews representing the function at a senior level

• Successfully supported and delivered the launch of a new automation system and machine revamp

• Fully responsible for managing part categories/suppliers for the division such as Intercompany, Filtration, Bearings, minor fabrications, gaskets etc
• Reviewing and tendering new parts and ensuring parts are sourced correctly taking into account full commercial impact with daily negotiations within the supply base
• Tracking and running weekly depletion logs to support supply chain risk conversations and to mitigate against line stops
• Running an operational dashboard analysis to track outstanding orders, deliveries, debit notes, material escalations and PCFs
