- Took on an additional responsibility during my apprenticeship as a Health & Safety Representative. I currently work with colleagues to raise safety concerns, carry out joint safety inspections with management and present safety improvements. Also supported improvements to first aid supplies and initiatives to improve worksite safety.

- As a volunteer life boat crew member, my main roles are attending emergency callouts, launching boats, carrying out bi-weekly checks, boat maintenance and general station maintenance. From volunteering, I have gained a range of certificates such as; First Response Emergency Care Level 3, Sea Survival training, Water Search and Resue, and Powerboat Handling Level 2.
- As a keen voluteer, I also work closely with various services such as the Police, Coastguard, Scottish Fire and Rescue Service, Mountain Rescue, and the Scottish Ambulance Service. This has gave me experience in effective communication and working in a high pressure environment.
- Support by attending school visits and awareness days to promote the charity's work.
- Demonstrate commitment to charity fundraising, through marathons, ultra marathons and attending fundraising events

- Completed a Network Rail SCQF 6 Apprenticeship 12 months ahead of the expected completion date by proactively developing my knowledge and gaining practical experience across track maintenance activities.
- Developed experience across plain line and S&C maintenance works, detailed track inspections and rectification of track geometry defects, while working safely in accordance with railway standards and procedures. Also gained experience in the planning of maintenance works and reviewing track geometry data provided by track recording vehicles to identify and assess potential defects.

- Responsibilities in my previous job required making sure items were handled with care and are loaded on to transportation securely. I was responsible for driving throughout the UK and Europe to load or unload items.
- This job has given me experience in working in a wide range of locations and for different lengths of time. From this, I am adaptable to change and can adjust to new conditions. This role also gave me experience of communicating with a diverse range of customers. I always ensure a high level of customer service was carried out and that there was a personal commitment to each job.
