Selected by a member of staff at Stockport school for my sports experience, maturity, and confidence. I partook in volunteer work during holidays and half-terms. This role largely helped develop my leadership skills, social skills and it has allowed me to gain experience under high pressure situations (specifically involving children)

I was elected dance captain in Stockport school, this gave me the opportunity to assist my teacher during dance classes (specifically for the younger years). This developed my communication to a large group, my time management, and my understanding of a teachers role. During and outside of these classes I...

• Learned and practised dance steps to perfect routines for performances.
• Rehearsed daily to prepare for and learn choreography for dance roles.
• Performed complex dance routines to music without error.
• Delivered solo dance routines in front of live audiences and for recordings.
• Worked closely with choreographers to perfect performance of dance moves.
• Danced with partner in performances and competitions using routines involving different styles of dance.

During my time at Tyra's hair salon I was able to develop my people skills and communication - through both my boss (Tyra) and each costumer I would serve day by day. I was also able to build on my time management skills during the constant tasks I was required to keep on top of (sweeping floors, cleaning sinks and mirrors, making beverages and washing hair). I was also trusted to process customer cash and card payments - further allowing me to develop my reliability. Finally, I assisted in the social media management within the company, this gave me the opportunity to both grow creatively and get hands on experience with promoting a business.

I was trusted with the responsibility of finding myself work experience in june last year, I explored my options and ultimately made connections with Bowkler Sadler (an Architect Firm). This experience allowed me to grow as an individual through developing my time management, communication, confidence and my knowledge on the industry itself. The practice manager, Karen, at Bowkler Sadler stated that my "bubbly, positive attitude lit up the work place" further more she complimented my detication, time management and talent.
