During the 3 and a half years spent with the company I have been involved in various projects throughout the London Power Network (Alliance) that have a allowed me to gain knowledge, experience and abilities in my role.

Both as part of a team and leader of a team, I have carried out my role effectively and efficiently to help ensure the delivery of projects to the client. By liaising with project managers and engineers both internally and through the client I have helped see through each project to completion whilst maintaining high standards of health and safety. A list of common tasks I'm required to perform are as follows:

- Cable installations/diversions 11Kv -132Kv
- Reading of drawings and Installation of steelwork
- Installation of containment
- Cable panel installation
- Multicore installation
- Earthing (Tape and cable)
- Site set ups
- Demolition works
A substantial amount of my work has been carried out in testing and sometimes dangerous environments including substations, tunnels, culverts and water treatment plants. I have built a positive relationship with clients in the industry particularly UKPN which has enabled me to carry out my job with confidence.
These are a few of the projects I have been a part of -

Operative, Team Leader + Supervisor

J murphy & Sons
London
09.2007 - 07.2020

I began my career post education working as a general operative on UKPN's Lower Lea Valley Cable Tunnel project. The scale of the project allowed me to develop in my role quite quickly. Gaining skills, knowledge and understanding of the work carried out on the network.

Over the next 8 years I gained confidence and maturity within my role which allowed me to show initiative on the various projects I had been a part of. The following 5 years consisted of a move into a team leader and a supervisory role. Throughout my years of employment I strived to work efficiently, safely and be an asset to any project/team I was a part of.

During my time at J Murphy & Sons we completed projects on behalf of many clients including UKPN, National Grid, SSE and Western Power. Here is a list of some of the projects I was a part of:
