Conor McCollum

I started as an apprentice design engineer, This involved working on the factory floor for 6 months which familiarised me with a range of machines and equioment and also working in a team in the factory environment. I then joined the design team where I focused on plant releases. From there as my experience grew I was tasked with leading a number of different projects, One significant project was Road Stone Castlemore which was valued at in excess of £1 million and I was the lead design engineer. Recently I was seconded to help the project management team. During this time I worked with many different areas of the business - planning, procurement, manufacturing, install and commissioning. In this period of my secondment I had another 3 visits to site. Here, I helped with install, liaised with customers, worked with closing out snags and overseeing commissioning.
