Due to the challenges we encountered during Brexit and the increased volumes I spearheaded our training programme for brokers submitting customs declarations. During this time I was responsible for the training of around 100 new staff memebers. Throughout this period I delivered presentations and modules to these groups. I would also lead the day-to-day training of these groups to ensure they were completing the declarations compliantly.
Being the point of contact within my team to assist with any questions or problems the brokers would have regarding complex clearance queries whilst regularly providing extra group or one to one training sessions.
Responsible for managing and recording the teams KPI’s ensuring that they were achieving the standards set by the business.

Originally responsible for obtaining various pieces of information from customers and colleagues which allowed our team to finalise import customs entries. In this period, I was working in a fast paced, high pressure environment where I was tasked with calling and emailing customers whilst ensuring there was no delays in transit time and provide an excellent customer experience.
