Connor Cubitt

I am an enthusiastic, self-motivated and reliable school leaver seeking a part-time position to gain valuable work experience and develop new skills. I am friendly, hardworking, and eager to learn, with a positive attitude and strong work ethic. I am a good team player but also confident and comfortable working under my own initiative, with the ability to stay organised and focused in busy environments. I have a wide range of interests such as music, engineering, creative writing, reading, and history, and I am always keen to make the most of opportunities that allow me to develop and widen my skills and knowledge. During my time at University Technical College I took part in projects such as F1 in schools and became competent using industrial machinery which has given me many widely transferable skills, including a good awareness of health and safety in a busy environment. In addition to this I have gained lots of practical skills from helping out with DIY projects at home such as painting, building planters and working on cars. I also play the drums in my spare time and have regularly attended extra-curricular music groups and youth clubs, mixing with a wide range of people from different backgrounds and with different abilities. My commitment to this has recently led to me being asked to perform some gigs with my band.
