Currently seeking an entry-level technology position in the UK, Ireland, or beyond. I recently graduated with a Distinction in my Software Development Master's degree from Queen's University, Belfast and I am eager to pursue a career in the industry. I have a strong foundation in Java and Python, along with great experience in other programming languages such a JavaScript, SQL and GoLang. Through hands-on development, I have worked on multiple projects while adhering to software development principles such as Object-Orientated Programming (OOP) and agile development, which I have detailed below in the 'Key Projects' section.

Outside of the academic sphere I have started to teach myself different aspects of coding, looking at different frameworks such as 'React'. I plan to utitlise the framework to help me in my development of a full-stack platform that aims to integrate social networking and event management for the music industry. The platform will allow artists, venues, promoters and attendees to create and share music events, manage profiles and facilitate ticket sales - all within one platform.

• Developed a full-stack web application for managing and sharing online learning resources, following a CRUD-based architecture. Key features include user registration, learnlist creation, and resource management. Focused on both server-side and clientside development, utilising Node.js with Express.js for backend services and SQL for database management.
• Completed a comprehensive data analysis project, which involved identifying and analysing industry-specific problems and opportunities through data-driven methodologies. The project followed a structured, end-to-end process that included problem identification, data exploration, and causal analysis. Used Python and Jupyter Notebooks to generate visual insights and test hypotheses.
• Developed and extended a microservice-based IP Address Checker application as part of a cloud computing project. The application validated and classified IPv4 and IPv6 addresses, added functionality such as country identification, and detected bad IP addresses. Backend services were implemented using Python, PHP, and Go, while the frontend was developed in Node.js and PHP. The project involved deploying microservices using Docker, managed via Rancher, and improving CI/CD pipelines with enhanced error handling and service monitoring.
• Designed and implemented a database system for a commercial accommodation booking platform, mirroring real-world operations. The project involved creating database tables, defining primary and foreign key relationships, and writing SQL queries to demonstrate the functionality of the database. Key tasks included justifying design decisions and normalisation choices in a detailed report and demonstrating the system in a video walkthrough.
