Colleen Donaghy

I am highly competent in planning and delivering lessons for all subjects across the Primary Curriculum. I enjoy working individually or collectively as part of a team. Making sure deadlines are always met is important to me. I consider myself to be punctual and dependable.

My classroom experiences to date have taught me the importance of effective classroom management and I am confident in my teaching ability. With my proven academic ability, I feel that my youth, enthusiasm, dedication, and ambition would be a great asset to any school.

In addition to the pedagogy learnt at University, I have attained Grade 7 in piano and Grade 8 in singing and I have confidently implemented these in my teaching. I attained the Pope John Paul II Award through volunteering in my local community and Parish and I also hold a Catholic Religious Certificate. Following the untimely death of my youngest brother, Brendan, I have actively fundraised for the Children's Cancer Charity, demonstrating my unstinting caring nature and willingness to help others.
