As an SLS employee, I was provided the opportunity to communicate with various clients. Through this communication, I was able to understand the needs of the clients and prepare their space before the activities began.
Through this, I developed strong rapports between a variety of different clients, which conducted an amazing working environment for the clients, as well as establishing trust with the company that I represented.
As a representative of SLS, I was engrained with essential transferable skills such as time-managing skills, crucial-thinking, unrelenting determination, and organisational skills.
Throughout my experience, I acquired several essential attributes.
I was entrusted to categorise and understand various pharmaceutical product, which enhanced both my organisational skills and my curiosity.
Although, this work experience appeared tedious, I am grateful that I was giving the opportunity to adapt to a working environment at such a pivotal age. This work experience also developed my relationship with clients.
I was able to discover the depths of my confidence and learned that I liked to subject myself to conversation, which allowed me to create strong bonds with clients and enabled me to answer their queries with ease.
Teamwork was a significant part of my work experience, as everyone had a role to play, therefore I not only had to establish a bond with the clients but equally with the other employees. Throughout my work experience, I documented my time and progress for school. This allowed me to think critically about my time at the pharmacy, as well as reflect on all the vital lessons I have learnt.
