Cieran Williams

I am a motivated student who wishes to proceed into the Aerospace Engineering world of work. I am keen to learn new skills and build on the practical hand skills I have already gained, working inside a live hangar. My interests stem from my grandfather, a retired electrical engineer, who has shared his extensive experience and knowledge with me, repairing small household appliances and motors. I intend to proceed on to a Degree Apprenticeship following the end of my current course.

I am a young leader at a local scout group. By volunteering at Scouts, I gain vital communication and team leader skills, first aid and personal skills such as resilience, adaptability, and respect. In my last year as a scout, I gained my Chief Scouts gold award, which gave me the opportunity to join the Lord Mayor's Scout group, where I participated in several ceremonies: including the Cardiff Remembrance service and St David's Day celebrations. I grew up in Scouts and feel that being a leader is a way of giving back to the group.
