Clinical psychology work experience
Spent a day shadowing a clinical psychologist, gaining insight into the assessment process for neurodevelopmental conditions such as autism and ADHD.
Observed clinical appointments and attended a multidisciplinary team meeting, where psychologists and medical professionals collaborated to discuss and plan patient care.
Work experience at Marsh Infant and Nursery School
Completed a week-long placement supporting a Reception class. Assisted pupils with early learning activities and helped teachers with classroom setup and daily routines. This experience strengthened my communication and nurturing skills, particularly in working with young children.

I volunteer with Article12, a group that aims to improve the services that CAMHS offers.
As part of this role, I participated in the Bucks Youth Summit in both 2024 and 2025.
In 2024, I led discussions with students on mental health, gathering their insights to help improve mental health services/mental health support in schools as well as providing a space for students to discuss their individual experiences with mental health.
In 2025, I facilitated conversations around Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD), aiming to raise awareness and challenge common misconceptions about the condition.
Peer mentoring
Trained by the mental health charity Bucks Mind, I meet weekly with a younger student to offer support with challenges related to school or mental health.
I provide a safe space for open conversation and emotional support.
Reading buddy
I meet with a student each week to help develop her literacy skills and improve her understanding of texts through guided reading and discussion.
