I am an outgoing, friendly and passionate professional with a focus on customer centricity. Throughout my current position as Email Marketing Assistant at Schuh, and my previous roles at Neogen and Campus Industries, I have furthered the skills and knowledge gained from my Honours Degree in Marketing at the University of Strathclyde Business School.
In my role, I lead all stages of coordinating our email marketing campaigns, including planning, briefing, content creation, product selection, email building, customer segmentation, and reporting.
I have a keen eye for detail and prioritise keeping up to date with industry news, trends and regulations, to ensure our campaigns are engaging, and importantly that they remain compliant and accessible for all customers.
I have always been a creative person and have a flair for creating engaging content, with a particular passion for strong copywriting and using storytelling to guide audiences to convert, while maintaining a distinct tone of voice.
I am data-driven and have shaped our reporting structure to ensure that key engagement and conversion metrics are analysed for each campaign to help shape subsequent strategies and deliver results.
I also pride myself on communication skills, allowing me to work well across teams and channels, which also fosters strong relationships both internally and with any external stakeholders and partners.
Finally, I love the challenge of planning specific campaigns to ensure that the right message reaches the right person at the right time, and I am eager for the opportunity to put my skills to use to deliver results within Destination Glasgow.
I enjoy engaging in online material about marketing, branding and consumer behaviour, and always keep up to date with industry news and trend-cycles.
I have been a volunteer Senior Facilitator at the Ayrshire based diversity and inclusion group 4Ward2Gether for 9 years. As a team, we deliver workshops for all ages on discrimination, sectarianism and prejudice, organise learning weekends located in Belfast for pupils, plan fundraising events, liaise with stakeholders such as schools and churches and coordinate team-building activities to educate our community.
