A seasoned academic with over 16 years of progressive experience in higher education, rising from Graduate Assistant to Senior Lecturer in the Departments of Intelligence and Security Studies and Sociology at Novena University, Ogume, Delta State, Nigeria. Holds a PhD and Master’s degree in Intelligence and Security Studies, a Master’s in Sociology with specialization in Institutional Analysis, dual Bachelor’s degrees in Sociology & Anthropology and Law, and currently pursuing an LLM at BPP University, London Central.
Possesses a deep interdisciplinary foundation, with teaching and research interests spanning terrorism and counterterrorism, peace and justice, institutional sociology, deviance and social control, and legal-sociological intersections. Has taught a wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate courses, including Introduction to Sociology, Peace and Justice, Terrorism and Counterterrorism, Sociology of Law, Social Science Research, Economic and Financial Crime, and Deviance and Social Control.
