Since I went back to J Mills I have developed my joinery skills and have extended my knowledge of the construction industry.

In my spare time, I take a lot of pride in advertising and promoting the skills and services in which I am beginning to master. I believe there is always a ‘right tool for the job’. With this in mind, I have successfully gained freelance work from MyBuilder.com which is becoming very helpful in supporting my goals and funding the start of my career. over the last few years doing this I have built a reputation for myself and get work from recommendations.

At CRDB we were building commercial clean rooms and clinics. I learned a lot in this role and it has helped me develop my skills in construction. It has also teached me how to do a bit of book keeping and managing receipts for the accounts.

J Mills has introduced me to the working world of which I aspire to be part of and pursue a career in. I have had the opportunity to be part of commercial Maintenance work which includes….

• Fitting / repairing doors / fire doors / door closers
• Fire batting. fitting and replacing fire strips
• Fitting, repairing skirting boards and architrave
• Fitting / repairing plasterboards, stud walls, bespoke benches
• Floor repairing, access hatches, window restrictors
• Repairing fencing/gates and hoarding
• Anti slip stair treads and other various small repair/ fitting jobs

• Glass Collecting
• Waiting on / customer services
• Restocked bar efficiently during busy periods.
• Upon turning 17, progression to serving customers

Fixed term 9 week contract in the warehouse/stores assisting with stock take.
