I began my Job at Roxel UK as a engineering apprentice, and completed both my apprenticeship (level 3) and a HNC in mechanical engineering by 2024. I have spent most of my time in the engineering design office with secondments to production engineering, operations and safety while also completing multiple training courses in explosive safety awareness, additive manufacturing and pressure systems safety. During my time as a designer I have worked on designs for both mechanical tooling and energetics products producing high detail drawings and technical specifications. In 2023 I personally led and completed a capital expenditure project to invest in new 3D printing equipment and technology, arranging both the procurement and training for myself and other members of staff to both use the equipment and the technology within the business. The company recognised these efforts by awarding me a R3 personal achievement award. I became very invested in the companies success volunteering for the companies emergency response team as well as to represent the company at charity events and conferences.
