At New Look I worked as part of a team, ensuring that brilliant customer service, positivity and a clean environment were always our main priority. My duties included operating tills, regular stock checks to maintain stock availability on the shop floor, ensuring a welcoming store environment by keeping on top of the cleanliness and the organisation of our displays, also training new staff in many areas such as operating the tills and processing deliveries. Encouraging a supportive working environment.
I was also involved in refreshing stock in the shop windows, regular stock takes, floor moves which involved moving stock around as well as bar work and rails. Whilst working at New Look I also became in charge of the footwear department. This role involved being in charge of my own deliveries, stock rotation and stock checks from my own stock room. This role brought out my love for organising and attention to detail.
This job allowed me to take advantage of my attention to detail. We cleaned caravans as part of a team and individually. I enjoyed this as i found satisfaction when seeing the end result.

At Southlands I worked within a team as a health care assistant. My duties were offering and assisting with personal care, preparing and assisting with meals and providing emotional support to the residents and their families. I also cleaned and maintained the residents accommodation areas.
My duties were similar as above but also included administering medication and personal home care.
This role included bar work, operating tills, cleaning, key holding responsibilities, stock rotation, food safety and customer service. I engaged with customers regularly and gained good people skills. As part of this employment, I also worked regular shifts in the on-site Spar shop.
This was my first experience working in hospitality. I gained lots of confidence and enjoyed my time learning new skills. I started as a glass collector and worked my way up to an experienced barmaid. My role here included cash handling, stock rotation and customer service. We worked very hard as a team to make sure that all duties were carries out thoroughly.
