As a credit management consultant I was responsible for

  • Dealing with Inbound and also making outbound calls.
  • Taking payments and dealing with payment queries
  • Advised clients on effective credit control measures to minimise bad debts and referring to free sources of support and advice available.
  • Dealing with customers in financial difficultly completing a standard financial statements to obtain affordability and complete assessments to be able to see what options may be available to help customer and making referral to client.
  • Taking payments and dealing with payment queries.
  • Dealing with Direct Debit queries including setting up/suspending and cancelling of direct debits.
  • I was also a Subject Matter Expert and Gatekeeper in this role which involved in training of new starts being a point of contact of support for all colleagues to assist with queries and quality checked any work completed by colleagues before it was sent on to client or relevant departments this also included complaints.

As a Coach

  • Was responsible for both One to One and Group Coaching.
  • Completing call observations and providing feedback.
  • Rolling out training to colleagues when new processes where implemented.
  • Identifying any trends for errors from call observations and implementing solutions to reduce or eliminate these.

  • Dealing with inbound calls from customers and being one stop point of contact when able and if unable ensuring customers are referring to correct department.

Additional Information

During my 20 years in my previous employment I spent from 2020 till 2024 working from home and this had no negative impact on my quality or productivity.
