Since joining Veloche in 2013 as the General Manager of the Exhibitions department, I have had extensive experience in managing and growing the business. Before my time at Veloche, I worked for a multinational company called Pico from January 2011 to December 2012. During my two-year contract with Pico, I managed the entire sales exhibitions department and generated over 4 million dirhams in revenue annually.
During my tenure at Pico, I gained valuable experience and had the opportunity to travel and manage the biggest exhibition in Qatar called the World Petroleum Congress (WPC). In my first year, I successfully oversaw the entire design, cost, and build of the show, which resulted in tremendous success. Additionally, I managed relationships with prominent clients such as Mubadala, Cisco, and Saudi Arabian Airlines.
Transitioning to Veloche, I have made significant contributions to the growth of the company. I have successfully grown the sales team and achieved annual revenues exceeding 10 million dirhams. As we sought to expand our operations, we explored various countries and ultimately decided to open a branch in London. I was entrusted with the responsibility of leading this initiative, which involved generating new business, establishing new suppliers, recruiting and training staff, and building the Veloche brand in the UK. Over time, our efforts will succeed in establishing our production facility in the UK.
My journey in London began on March 28, 2021, when I faced the challenge of being quarantined for 15 days twice. This period proved to be one of the most difficult times in my career, however, it was not without its challenges that I continued to weather the Covid 19 conditions and continue to network in ways never imagined. Looking ahead to 2023, I have discussed with management and we decided to move to Manchester to take advantage of better opportunities to grow the business, particularly about more affordable warehousing and resources.
While managing my client CRC in ADIPEC in 2023, I was fortunate to network extensively during the show, and with our consistent pitching projects in the Show and with our efforts we secured another milestone with EIC (Energy Industry Council) in London to the value of £140,000.00 per year for the next 3 years
Throughout my career, I have consistently demonstrated a track record of successful management and revenue generation, as evidenced by my achievements at Pico in the past and Veloche presently.
