Responsibilities:

• Interpret structural engineering drawings and specifications to ensure accurate understanding and execution of project requirements.
• Develop fabrication drawings for steel components in accordance with design standards and project specifications.
• Perform accurate manual or software-based takeoffs of structural steel quantities from architectural and structural drawings.
• Work closely with estimators and the procurement team to develop accurate project quotations and bid proposals.
  Visit the fabrication shop to coordinate and support the steel fabrication process based on approved drawings and specifications.
• Collaborate with the erection crew and site supervisors to ensure the safe and precise installation of structural steel components on site.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the creation of shop drawings, erection plans, and Bills of Materials (BOMs) using software such as Advance Steel, AutoCAD, and Tekla Structures.
• Coordinate 3D models with other disciplines, including electrical, piping, and mechanical systems, ensuring clash detection and resolution through Navisworks.
• Lead and mentor a team of detailers, offering technical guidance and conducting performance evaluations.
• Conduct thorough reviews and approvals of drawings and models before submission to clients or fabrication teams.
• Prepare project status reports, update stakeholders on progress, and assess potential risks.

• Conduct thorough quality checks on drawings to verify accuracy, completeness, and feasibility for fabrication.
• Assist fabricators and erection teams by addressing technical queries related to steel connections, bolt placements, and welding details.
