A vastly experience Programme manager with a proven track of building and developing teams to deliver a diverse range of Infrastructure Projects and Programmes on time and to budget in an ever changing environment.
Seconded into a 6 month role to manage the migration from existing monitoring tool to new. (BMC Patrol to Zabbix)
This programme consisted of migrating over 10,000 servers spread over 40 clients onto the new environment against a very aggressive timescale.
The Team consisted of several technical resources and my main objective was to get this team working to a plan that enabled us to meet the end goal of full migration.
The diversity in each of the Client estates proved hugely challenging but my PM skills along with Team Management and Client Liaison experience allowed us to get this programme on track and scheduled for completion on target date.
On joining CGI I was assigned to a local authority account where I for the first year managed a number of Network Transformation Projects including WAN, LAN and IPT/IPCC.
I then moved into and headed up a team responsible for all new Infrastructure projects. The team included 12 PMs and we had anything between 100 and 200 active projects at any one time. We delivered to an estate that included over 500 sites.
Responsibilities included:
Programme Manager based on Managed Account (Local Authority) responsible for a joint team of PMs and Technical Resources delivering a large number of large and medium sized projects.
Team Management , Client / Stakeholder relationships and Financial Mgmt responsibilities were all part of a very varied workload and experience.
Worked on a number of network delivery projects which included:
Service Managed a number of Financial Sector Clients and worked with Account Manager/Director to ensure all contractual SLAs were met in accordance with the relevant contracts.
Trained and worked in the analogue environment delivering services to residential properties in the area.
