In my role at Wessex Vale Crematorium, I am responsible for a wide range of administrative duties, ensuring the smooth operation of our services while maintaining the highest standards of care and professionalism.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Handling and proofreading relevant documentation, including Cremation Form 1, Cremation Form 10, Cremation Form 6, Registrar's Green Certificates, and Preliminary Applications, ensuring all information is correct and compliant.
  • I input and manage data in our internal system, ensuring timely submission and authorisation by our medical referee. I take ownership of identifying and rectifying any discrepancies in the paperwork.
  • I oversee and manage service bookings, responding promptly to enquiries via phone and email, providing clear assistance.
  • I manage the site social media accounts, creating regular, engaging posts to promote our services and maintain a strong connection with the local community.
  • I ensure the chapel is always maintained to a high standard of presentation for all services.
  • I support families in selecting meaningful memorials, including plaques, benches, and inscriptions. This requires a balance of sensitivity, product knowledge, and attention to detail throughout the order process — from initial inquiry to installation.
