Chloe Waddington

Dynamic Drama and Theatre Practice graduate pursuing a PGCE in secondary school drama, offering a comprehensive background in all facets of theatre with a strong emphasis on acting and costume design. Proven expertise in time management and meeting deadlines, developed through rigorous academic and professional experiences. A collaborative team player with hands-on experience in performance creation, excelling both onstage as a cast member and backstage as a crew member. Passionate about fostering creativity and engagement in educational settings, ready to inspire the next generation of performers.

I am always intrigued to try something new, and while I was at university, I joined a Ballroom and Latin dancing society. This resulted in competing in several competitions during my first year. Along with this, I joined the drama society and became social secretary in my second year and president in my third. During this, I organised socials, managed money, was responsible for everyone's safety and managed all the members of my committee. For a few of these shows during my time in the society, I helped backstage in terms of gathering props and ensuring the cast had them when needed, sort of taking on a similar role to a stage manager.

  Burnley Youth Theatre - Working alongside session leaders and helping with young children, creating small pieces of theatre
• Youth Board, Burnley Youth Theatre - The youth board is the connection between the participants and staff at Burnley Youth Theatre. As part of this, I have helped to organise different events completing all the planning, budgeting and any fundraising if necessary.
