I am looking for a part time position working with children, nursery assisant.
I have excellent people and interpersonal skills. I have worked with the general public for all of my working life and then having children later in life and working in a nursery has built on my love of learning and training. I am a very caring and intuitive person and these skills serve me well when working closely with clients and parents alike. I am an upbeat positive person to work with and very passionate about supporting my team and working together to achieve the best possible results.
Roughly two days a week is what I am looking for, I do have some flexibility but also have to work around my own children of course.

Since moving from London to Herefordshire I have been a full time parent. Focusing my efforts in settling my 2 young children into new schools and environments and taking care of my family as they adapt to their new normal. I am proud of this and grateful to my backgrounds in childcare and beauty therapy in which the skills I have learnt and cultivated for so long, have really helped me to organize, coordinate and inspire learning within my family. I am eager now to share these skills and enjoy being part of a team and workforce again. I am a reliable individual and always treat my colleagues with respect and sensitivity.

- Settled children for naps ages 6months-3years
- Helped children with their meals, encouraging self feeding.
- Involved with activity planning helping the room leader put together a list or rota week to week.

- Encouraging self regulation moments throughout the day i.e book corner, outdoor moments or quiet time with a chosen toy.
- Observing children in their next steps and EYFS frame work and logging this or feeding back to room leader.

Training
At the nursery I was always eager to participate in any training and my manager was really good at exposing us to this and giving training that would help us day to day with the children. On a personal note, had I not relocated I would have accepted to study for a level 3 in childcare and am still interested in gaining this qualification - for my own interest and to better serve the place I work.
