My name is Chloe, I’m 17 years old, and I am passionate about animals, especially horses They have been a big part of my life for as long as I can remember, and spending time with them has helped shape who I am Being around horses has taught me responsibility, patience, and the importance of being calm and consistent I love caring for them—whether it’s grooming, mucking out, feeding, or just spending time with them Working with animals makes me feel confident, grounded, and happy, which is why I am determined to build my future around it

Family is also really important to me, and I’ve grown up helping others and looking after younger relatives This has made me caring, understanding, and able to put other people’s needs before my own when it matters These qualities transfer naturally into working with animals, as they rely on people who are kind, gentle, and reliable

I am now looking for a job or apprenticeship where I can work with animals, especially horses, and continue to develop my skills I believe I would be an asset to a placement because I am hardworking, committed, and willing to learn I enjoy hands‑on work, I’m not afraid of early mornings or getting dirty, and I always finish tasks to the best of my ability I’m also good at following instructions, staying calm under pressure, and working as part of a team

I am really motivated to start building my career and would love the opportunity to learn from professionals in the industry My passion for horses, my caring nature, and my strong work ethic mean I would bring positivity and dedication to any role I’m excited for the chance to prove myself and begin a future doing something I truly love

I would describe organisation as one of my strongest skills, and it’s something I take pride in. I like to approach every task with a clear plan so I know exactly what needs to be done and how I’m going to do it. Whether it’s college work, caring for horses, or helping out at home, I always make sure I prioritise my responsibilities and break them down into manageable steps. Being organised helps me stay calm and focused, even when things are busy or unexpected changes happen. I prefer to prepare in advance, making sure everything is ready and in place before I start a job. This means I work efficiently and rarely fall behind. I’m also good at keeping track of routines and schedules, which is especially important when it comes to caring for animals. My organisation helps me follow instructions properly, stay on top of tasks, and complete work to a high standard. It also makes me a reliable team member, as I communicate clearly and support others by knowing what needs to be done. Overall, my organisational skills make me feel confident in education, in practical work environments, and in any apprenticeship or job I choose to pursue.
