  • My job as a Guest Experience Coordinator has a big remit – it is split into welfare, social and admin with financial responsibilities
  • Within the welfare side of my job, I am the support system
  • I support loved ones through a death onboard and if a guest needs to go to hospital or be medically disembarked whether that is by a helicopter or speed boat, I assist in making sure they’re fully prepared and stay in contact until everyone is home
  • Within the social side, I arrange and conduct on the Bridge with the Master of the ship Ceremony of Vows, I hold weekly ‘Behind the Scenes Tours’ taking guests to places on the ship that only crew are permitted and I also look after all the Solo Travellers onboard
  • This involves hosting nightly pre dinner drinks, coffee mornings and lunches
  • As well as this I document everything daily using risk and formular, formulate weekly reports using microsoft and excel and I work closely with the purser team to make sure the ships revenue matches every week
