  • I worked with Claire Foundation For the Aged in Nigeria, firstly as a volunteer Carer for the elderly and eventually as Director of Operations.
    I volunteered as a Carer in this Charity for a period of 18 months (August,2016 to February,2018). In this capacity, I joined the team of workers whose duty is to provide care to the elderly people who have different challenges and cannot be helped by their family or the healthcare system. I assist with personal care such as with feeding, medication, personal hygiene, clothing, cleaning, sanitation, exhortation, rendering of support and generally bringing them out from depression and a feeling of hopelessness to a place of love, trust and happiness.
    I accepted appointment as Director of Operations in August,2018 and took up the additional responsibility of Leadership and Management. In this role, I got involved with healthcare advocacy, directing the attention of government to the need for policy and legislative changes to address the plight of the citizens, especially the elderly in the area of healthcare. l become involved in the mobilization of medication, clothing, equipment funding and the setting up of outposts for the elderly people to visit for free medical checkups, medical advice and referrals to hospitals where necessary. l became a leader and manager of healthcare professionals, including doctors and nurses in passionate commitment to add value to the lives of the senior citizens who are on the wrong side of the poor healthcare delivery system in Nigeria .l came to the UK in Septemberber,2022 to undertake a Master's degree program in Healthcare Management and Leadership at the University of Worcester. l am presently a Ward Hostess at the Worcester Royal Hospital and looking for a position in healthcare that reflects my passion, experience, trainings and qualifications.
