Accomplishments
2023 - MSc Research on Opioid Tapering for patients with chronic non-cancer pain in primary care. This involved investigating robust updated evidence to support the most effective opioid tapering strategies and their possible effects on patient outcomes.
2016 - conducted an audit titled 'Appropriate Use of Parenteral Nutrition (PN) ' which involved the Prospective and Retrospective data analysis of 100 patients in Doncaster Royal Infirmary over a one-year period with emphasis on re-feeding risks and prompt transition to enteral feeding where possible.
2009 - MSc research on ‘Promoting rationale prescribing in HIV clinics in St. James University Hospitals Leeds'. This involved the analysis of prescription patterns over a period of one year in 350 patients, reviewing the factors influencing the choice of various treatments and auditing if treatments choices were in line with national guidelines.
