Chi Hung, Bear Pang

I am ChiHung Pang (Bear), and I have been working in the interior design industry in Hong Kong for 20+ years (details listed below). I started my career as a draftsman and gradually progressed to the role of senior interior designer. My responsibilities include conceptual design, drawing, and client communication during the initial stages, as well as creating various construction drawings and explaining designs to clients and contractors in the mid-stages. I also oversee project progress during construction to ensure that all work meets completion standards, covering different phases of the project. My design projects primarily focus on commercial spaces (mainly retail), but I have also worked on offices, schools, and residential projects, adjusting to the nature of previous companies' businesses.

In addition to interior design, I am also an artist & urban sketcher and a karate instructor (3rd Dan black belt). As an artist, I have conducted various painting workshops and served as a live event artist at different events. I am a founder of a sketching group (Wahayeah Sketch Group) in Hong Kong, where I take on roles such as event planning, coordination, curation, and workshop instruction. Our philosophy is to strengthen the connection between members and various community groups through diverse painting activities, including visits to elderly care homes and themed painting workshops. Through urban sketching activities, we aim to enhance members' understanding of the community and foster a sense of belonging.

Having recently moved from Hong Kong to the UK, I understand that this is a new beginning. I hope to integrate into society quickly and make the most significant contribution possible using the experiences I have accumulated in the first half of my life.
