This Job was my first experience in the real financial World. I shadowed the Chief Investment Officer for two weeks learning the ins and outs of trading. The firm specialised in Foreign Exchange trading thus I had to research deeply into foreign affairs.
Skills learnt:
- Using Microsoft Excel for financial modelling and expense tracking.
- Drafting accurate and timely monthly performance summaries for management's review.
- Shadowing senior staff to learn key accounting principles and processes.
