I am a dedicated Support Assistant in Primary school, a positive role model successful in quickly building rapport with the children. I am paediatric first aid trained. I currently work as 1:2:1 in reception class supporting a non verbal child with autism working closely with the class teacher and following care plan. Previous to that I worked in reception and year 1 supporting a small group of children working with the lead teacher to develop and implement engaging and interactive interventions. I am devoted to my role and strive to succeed going above and beyond my expectations. I am compassionate with effective classroom and behaviour management this was recognised from the senior lead team during a recent ofsted inspection. I am currently studying CACHE Supporting Teaching and Learning at East Durham college which is due to complete in may 24.
